Remembrance Day Ceremony will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Kingsway Branch # 175, located at 14339 50th Street, Edmonton, on Saturday, November 11, 2023. Cadets are to arrive at 0930hrs (9:30 am) at the Legion and are to head to the “Wildrose Room”. The ceremony will begin at 1030hrs (10:30 am) at the Branch Cenotaph in the parking lot. Cadets should be done by 1130hrs (11:30 am) and ready for pickup. However, they are welcome to stay at the legion afterwards for a snack and if staying - will be ready for pickup at 1215hrs (12:15 pm). At 1230hrs, cadets will have to wait outside the legion so please don’t be late for pickup.

Wear Service Dress aka Distinctive Environmental Uniform (DEU) with a poppy and dress for the weather. This means wearing the cadet winter coat (or your own), bring your own gloves and toque. The temperature high for the day is suppose to be 9 degrees but in the morning it will be hovering around 0 degrees and there will be a wind. Also ensure you have a breakfast and keep hydrated before arriving.

Family and friends are more than welcome to stay for the ceremony too as we pause in a silent moment of remembrance for the men and women who have served, and continue to serve our country during times of war, conflict and peace.
